Tropicana Bar and Grill in Joplin

They have as an option you can price up to a better cut of burger, prime i guess, they were out. Still tried reg burger it was ok. The beer on tap was great love some beers.

I Love the food. Everything made from scratch. The daily lunch specials sounds so good I have to try them. The servers are very helpful & polite. A lunch special is pictured below. Something they come up with each day. It's as good as it looks. Fries are great & so was the sandwich.

This place is the best! Quick, friendly service and amazing food! I highly recommend the Buddha Gouda and the Big Blue Salad. Their chicken strips are delicious too. It’s a must try if you’re in Joplin.

I had the Shane's Philly it wasnt the prettiest plate I've ever seen but was very good. Good beer selection, they had Tank 7 one of my favorites.

I love the Burgers here. There is a lot of variety and flavor. I've never had anything I didn't like. The atmosphere is great and I've never had a problem with service. Beer selection is varied and rotates. There's always something to try.

Food was amazing. It was fairly busy with only 2 people working floor and bar. Took a little while to get our order in. The waitress was very accommodating and did a great job.

Great bar atmosphere that feels a little like a dive or English pub. Phillysteak rolls and the fish and chips were great!

Definitely not the place to try for the first time if you're medically exempt from wearing a mask. Went for the first time, and was refused a table inside. Was told if we can't wear anything over our faces that we would have to eat outside in 90 degree weather with no air flow or protection from the heat. If it was possible to give this place a negative star rating, we would be. This place violates the medically exempt standards that have been put in place to protect those patrons who are unable to comply with the 'norms' of society now.

Excellent sports bar with some awesome food.

Poor service, food was terrible. We were the 1st ones in the door, 4 other tables of people came in after us, ordered appetizers and food. We were the last of the 4 tables to get food, other tables already had their appetizers and the main dish before we ever got anything besides drinks. Appetizers came, then 3 min later we were asked if we wanted a box for them since she was bringing our food. Had to wave down someone to bring us our checks and a box so we could take pretty much all of the food to go. We were there over an hour and ran out of time to actually eat. We were not even there at rush hour, 11 am when the doors opened. Out of 4 appetizers, and 2 menu items the only thing worth eating was the fried pickles. Won't go back🤢

Unique menu. Not your ordinary burger joint. If you are feeling adventurous try one of their signature burgers. My favorite is the gooey gouda burger.

The food was amazing. We were first timers and we asked what we should try. The waitress was SO helpful and suggested fish and chips and they were the BEST I have ever had. We also ordered the hot honey burger and fish tacos. It was all so fresh and flavorful. My new favorite Joplin amazing food eatery. ❤️

Food was good, but there were quite a few flies and the tables were kinda sticky. The floor though, was extremely sticky.

We've ordered take out before but this was the first time eating inside. We missed happy hour by about 2 minutes. 🙁 We sat at the bar, they serve the whole menu there. Our food was yummy, and the food of everyone around us looked really great too. We liked it and will be back.

Ahi tuna sandwich was to die for! The sauce was really good, but you may opt to see if you can get it on the side so it's less messy. Fries were good too! Will definitely be back again for more Ahi tuna, it's perfectly seared on the outside and pink in the middle and has fresh crunchy cabbage. The bf's burger was already stated as really good and he ate the whole thing!

This place has quickly become my favorite burger joint in town. The food is consistently great and I always leave with leftovers from the generous proportions. Awesome atmosphere and wait staff.

Great food and friendly atmosphere for great friends!

It's kind of a mom bar. You'll find a bunch of middle aged people after work hitting happy hour, and it attracts a bunch of teachers and professional types from the hospitals near by. The patios are fantastic, the noise level is very conversational, they have a shuffleboard table, and a good size selection of beer. But man. The food. The food. They have delicious burgers and steak sandwiches, fantastic homemade potato chips, and the best fried dill pickles ever. They are almost tempura battered instead of cornmeal so they are crisp and airy and salty and tangy. Perfect bar food.

The food was great! But the service was very very slow. Waited about 45 mins for 1 appetizer. After that it was 30 or more mins for our food. There was no communication about it taking awhile and no sorry after food was brought.

Had a great time. Server understood we were just hanging out and didn't check on us too much but made sure our drinks were never empty. Good was on point. Bill was cheaper than expected. All in all very good experience

It was the perfect day to go out and have a drink..my friend said we should stop by the Tropicana and it was a VERY pleasant experience. They have a great selection of drinks, looked like a great selection of food( we only drInk this time) and there was plenty of places to sit inside and outside. We sat out on the patio and it was perfect. The staff were very knowledgeable and personable. Even though it was my first time there, they gave the same service as if we were regulars...and that is a good thing. Thanks!

A little noisy but a nice atmosphere. Good food too. Service is good. The balcony is sweet to have some drinks at but I don't think they serve food out there.

Believe the hype. Best burgers in town. Buudha Gouda is a dream. Our servers have always done a great job as well. Atmosphere is a little too bar-like if you're not into that, but you can't beat dinner for two on that patio balcony when the weather is just right!

Huge portions and a great staff. Sarah made our night with amazing and attentive service. If you're in the area and you pass up a visit here you've missed out!

It wasn't knock you socks off great. The mushrooms were really good. Hamburgers were cooked really well. But, It could use a bit more flavor. The service was awesome!
